After the success of its Mi 3, Xiaomi is all set to bring yet another uber-affordable smartphone with awesome specs in India. the smartphone was first announced for India at Rs. 6,999, but the company seems to have had a change in mind at the last minute as far as pricing is concerned. The smartphone will be available via its first flash sale on September and customers can register for it on Flipkart after 6pm IST on Tuesday.The Redmi 1S is a dual-SIM (WCDMA for 3G + GSM for 2G) phone with an 8 megapixel rear camera and a 1.6 megapixel front camera. The phone is powered by a quad-core 1.6GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8228 processor and the GPU is an Adreno 305.
The Xiaomi Redmi 1S is an entry-level dual-SIM smartphone. It has a 4.7-inch display with 1280 x 720 pixels resolution. The smartphone sports an 8MP rear camera and 1.6MP front camera.
The Redmi 1S has 8GB internal memory, expandable via microSD. The smartphone is powered by a 2000 mAh changeable battery. Connectivity options include 2G, 3G, Bluetooth LE and Wi-Fi.
